Leiomyosarcoma of the Stomach

Abstract

|
The incidence of the leiomyosarcoma is less than 1% of all malignant gastric tumor and usually massive
bleeding is one of characteristic symptoms. But the prognosis is better than that of carcinoma or other
sarcoma such as lymphosarcoma.
In surgical Department of St. Mary´s Hospital, Authors had experienced 3 cases of leiomyosarcoma
confirmed by tisue pahology, which was surgically treated with good effect and intended to report
these cases with review of references.
